Great test feedback

Junkkari in exhibitions

13.-19.11.2011 Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany (Hall 11, stand D31).

In Agritechnica we have our stand in Hall 11, D31, and there we will have Maestro Plus 3000 together with Maestro Seed 3000. Also you can see very interesting demo unit about new precision farming possibilities. Our forest machines can be seen in outdoor area at the stand FD14. That is the stand of our distributor Hans Seibold but there will be some Junkkari people as well. But for sure you will find us from Hall 11.

October has been the month of exhibitions here in Finland and now in November we will continue with the biggest international one, Agritechnica. We started in the second week of October with Koneforum in Tampere. In this exhibition we were showing our combi drills and tipping trailers. This is usually very important exhibition because it gathers lot of farmers from all over the Finland. It basically starts the very important pre-season of sales and our feeling in the exhibition was very positive.

Two weeks after Koneforum we took our Forest line to Koneagria exhibition in Jyväskylä. There we were first time with our new dealer Konefarmi and the results were also here very positive. Dealers got a lot of contacts from interested customers and several deals were made already during the show. So we have to say that we expect lot of this new dealership. In this exhibition we had a wide range of cranes, trailers and chippers. We were presenting first time our new crane model 4580.

Victory for Finnish robot

Summer worker of Junkkari, Matti Aspila, was member of winning team in Field Robot Event in Denmark. Finnish team was co-operation between University of Helsinki and Aalto University and there were totally 19 teams in competition. Finnish team’s Cornivore-robot won two of totally four tasks. Robot was praised especially for finishing and reliability but special attention it got from Freestyle-task. The precision farming robot travelled automatically to the base station for battery change and filling of the fertilizer hoppers when needed.

International Field Robot Event was now arranged totally 9th time. Finnish team’s goal for this year was to build a reliable and maintenance friendly robot. In Freestyle-task team wanted to show how in some jobs, small scale robots can in the future replace big agricultural machines.

Production news

We have renewed our assembly lines and warehouses so that they are now more suitable for customer oriented production. Factory premises are comfortable and they give us possibility for remarkable development in efficiency.

All products are finished and packed for deliveries inside the factory. Proper covering and packing ensures that customer receives the machine without any damages.

Our goal is to be remarkable European agricultural- and forest machine producer. To achieve this, we need to focus on continuous product development, improving our actions and quality control. We need to be able to turn ideas into products which finally help our customers to succeed better in their job.
